After completing his fine art and literature studies at universities on both sides of the Pacific Ocean, Seth High settled in Japan in 1999. In addition to running SHContemporary, he works as a copywriter, voice actor, and content marketing consultant. High's fiction and non-fiction writing, as well as his visual arts work, are often featured in magazines such as Sweet Dreams, MAP, T-Shirts Dictionary and Rockin' On. Since 1998, Seth High has curated over 30 exhibitions for both private galleries and public art institutions, including the Kamogawa Art Museum, Trancepop Gallery, 66 Modern, Allied Arts of Whatcom County, Pop Art Gallery, Galerie Utrecht, Saint Schwein Guest Houses, and the 5th Awa International Biennale.
